The figure for people buying fresh coffee and going to the café has a similar pattern. While the percentages of population who went to a café in Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart all exceed 60%, that of Brisbane and Adelaide are only around 50%. Similarly, in terms of fresh coffee purchases, the figures recorded in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart are around 10% higher than that of the remaining areas.
Instant coffee is more likely to be chosen compared to fresh coffee when the figure for instant coffee bought in each country accounts for more than 46%. Notably, the percentage of instant coffee purchases is twice that of fresh coffee in 3 countries namely Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart.
