Overall, all of the cities experienced an increase in going to cafés for coffee or tea in the last four weeks, except for Adelaide. The percentage of residents who bought instant coffee came to the second highest proportion. However, the least number is going to a café in every given part of Australia.To begin with, the evidence habit of the nationals in Sydney, Melbourne, and Hobart is a survey to go to a café for coffee or tea in the last four weeks, and all of them were higher than 60%. to Meanwhile, the residents of Brisbane and Adelaide who preferred to visit cafés for coffee or tea in the last four weeks were slightly fewer, with just under 60% in Brisbane and slightly above 50% in Adelaide. Notably, Adelaide was the only city where visiting cafés did not rank as the top choice.
In terms of instant coffee purchases, Brisbane and Hobart had the highest proportions, with close to 55% of residents buying instant coffee. This was followed closely by Adelaide, where around half of the population opted for instant coffee, making it the most popular choice in that city. Sydney and Melbourne, however, showed a slightly lower preference for instant coffee, with figures around 45%.
When it comes to buying fresh coffee, Sydney and Melbourne had the highest numbers, with about 45% of people in both cities choosing fresh coffee. In comparison, fewer people in Brisbane, Adelaide, and Hobart bought fresh coffee, with around 35% in each of these cities.
