Overall, while the spending by 18-20 years old in one country on books was recorded a downward trend, the figures for other products saw some significant changes over the years. Moreover, people in 18-20 years old often spent most of their money on food.
In 2010, the spending by 18-20 years old in one country on smartphones was 1000 millions, but it was just only a half if it compared to smartphones and toiletries, while the highest proportion of spending was on food, about 3700 millions, more than 1200 millions to the clothes.
Four years later, food continued to dominance the top of the bar chart with 4400 millions, a slight rising of it. Spending on smartphones also saw a significant increase, around 2700, while the toiletries had a little bit positive changes from around 2000 millions to exactly 2000 millions. Beside that, we could see the dropping over a half from spending on books, around 500 millions. Lastly, purchasing on clothes remained stable at about 2500 millions throughout period.
