The given bar chart illustrates the change in export earnings of a country from different products measured in billions of dollars from 2015 to 2016, while the table shows the percentage difference of each category. At a glance, we can see that the highest recorded income is from petroleum products and engineered goods.
When considering the graph, the highest revenue ($ 60,000,000) was gained from petroleum products in 2015 with a slight rise in 2016. Gain from agricultural products and textiles is in the lower range but with improvement between the years. The profit from engineered goods was slightly higher in 2016 when compared to 2015. However, gems and jewelry which exhibit a mid-range profit suffered a drop in one year.
According to the table, 2016 has experienced a considerable increase (15.24%) in the exports of textiles, while export agriculture has gained marginal improvement. Unlike other product categories, gems and jewelry exports have gone down significantly in 2016. The exports of petroleum products and engineered goods have gone up by 3% and 8.5% respectively.
