Overall, experts earnings in all the categories increased except gems and jewelry. Similarly, gems and jewelry’s value went down, while other product values went up during the given period.
In 2015, petroleum products and engineered goods were around 60 and 58 billion dolar, next year these figures climbed to nearly 62 and 61 billion dolar respectively,.Export earning from Agricultural products slightly rose from roughly 31 to 32 billion dolar. There was a noticeable growth in textiles by approximately 5 billion dolar between 2015 and 2016.However, export earning from gems and jewelry reduced at around 40 billion dolar.
Textiles export showed the largest growth in value at 15.24%.Petroleum products, engineered goods and agricultural products export values went up by 3%,8.5% and 0.81% subsequently. In contrast, the export value of gems and jewelry experienced a downward trend at 5.18%.
