Overall, maximum profit was generated by export of petroleum product compared to other items in both the years, while the textile was the one, through which least revenue was generated in 2015 . However, by 2016, there was a increase in export earning rate of textile, being highest amoung other categories.
Firstly, in 2015, almost 60 billion dollars were generated through export of petroleum produt. However, with a slight increase of almost 5 billion, by 2016, it stood at around 65 billion. Similarly, engineering goods were contreibuting almost 58 billion in 2015, which rose to almost 61 billion by 2016. In contrast, the gems and jwellery experienced a drop, i.e., from 42 billion in 2015 to 40 billion in 201. Moreover, neral;y equal revenue was generated through export of agricultural product in both the years, i.e., 30 billion each. Although, initially textile was giving approximately 28 billion to the country, it rose to almost 30 billion in the next period.
In 2016, petroleum product experienced a 3% increase in the profit amount. However, gems and jwellery earning rate fell by 5.18%. In comparison, earning rate through export of engineered goods and textiles increased by 8.5% and 15.24% respectively. Lastly agricultural product with a lowest increasing rate of 0.81%.
