The percentage of one-person and two-person households became more popular during the span in question. In 1981, seventeen percent of households consisted of only a person-household, which later this figure rose by thirteen percent and reached twenty-six percent. As for the rate of the two occupants households, it was thirty-one in the initial year, later experienced a slight increase to thirty-four percent of all household percentages.
In contrast, the other four witnessed decreasing changes. Three-person households’ share downed from twenty percent to seventeen percent. Similarly, the four-person household share was eighteen percent, which declined to fifteen percent. Regarding the remaining two households, five-and-six-people households, share, they were eight to six percent in 1981, before declining to six and two percent, respectively, in 2001.
