Moreover, it is also worth noting that lower part of the layout mostly remained unchanged.
in 2001, the floor was primarily designed for reading purposes. The fiction section occupied the entire northern part, while history and self-help books were positioned along the western wall. Tables for reading were centrally placed, while newspapers and periodicals were situated on the eastern side near the entrance. There were librarian’s desk and the entrance in the southwest side of the layout.
By 2009, substantial changes had occurred. The fiction area was reduced and shifted to the western side, making space for a new children’s section and children’s area in the north. Additionally, a dedicated section for films and DVDs was newly introduced on the eastern wall where newspaper and periodicals were previously located. Computers were also installed along the eastern side, emphasizing toward digital changes. Despite these changes, the location of tables, librarian’s desk and staircase remained unchanged.
