The maps illustrate changes that have taken place in a library in the years 2001, and 2009.
Overall, there have been extensive developmental changes over the years with more change to shelfs and the introduced of computers.
In 2001, the left side of the map originally featured self help and history book shelfs. In the middle, there are 8 tables that are equally divide into 2 cluster of 4 and parallel to each other. On the right side of the tables, in front of the stairs, there is a Newspaper and periodicals book sections. At the end of the room, there is a fiction shelf for both adults and children.
In 2009, on left side of the library, the two originally featured shelfs remain unchanged. But they are now equally divided into 6 different sectors to give way to 3 brand news section that include kitchen, economics, laws. The previous 8 tables in the middle are now replaced by 4 long tables that are parallel to each other. The Newspaper and periodicals book sections are now transform into films and dvds, below that are the introduction of the 2 brand new computers. The final change is at the previous fiction shelf that are now relocated to the left side of the room to give way to a new section is the children’s book, in front of it are now the children area.
