Overall, it is clear that the number of trips of men was higher than women counterparts. Another remarkable point is that males tended to travel to work, while females were in favor of shopping.
In terms of recreational trips, the main purpose of women’s trips was shopping that ranked first at nearly 275 outings, as opposed to approximately 180 of men’s ones. Moreover, women had over 200 trips to visit friends, which was slightly higher than men’s visits. In contrast, the number of men’s trips for sports or recreation surpassed women’s ones by nearly 20 trips in total.
Regarding the remaining aims, the number of trips for commuting to work in male was significantly higher than women’s travels, which was precisely 325 and approximately 210, respectively. Finally, the day trip was not common in both genders, ranging from 25 in women to 35 in men.
