Overall, it is clear that England had the highest population of people without homes compared to the other places. In addition, while England and Rest of England witnessed a significant rise of homeless people over time, the opposite was true for London.
Starting with England, in 2010, it had around 1,300 homeless, which was the highest in comparison with Rest of England and London. Three years later, this figure rose gradually to 2,500 before climbing dramatically to reach a peak of roughly 4,300 in 2016. Similarly, Rest of England which was the second place with most homeless, experienced a slight increase of approximately 600 in the first four years, and then it grew rapidly to over 3,000 in the final year.
With regards to the remaining figures, London which remained to be the lowest throughout the whole period, saw a slow growth in the number of homeless people from 500 in 2010 to 1000 in 2015, which then remained stable until the final year.
