This chart demonstrates the proportion of men and women having six different types of jobs in UK in 2007.
Firstly, there is no difference between men and women in applying for jobs in general, as some professions have a majority of female and others have a majority of male. For example, female is at a command of advertising, teaching which is considered the highest rate for women’s jobs marked for 90%, and therapy which is one of the most remarkable profession in women rather than men with about 81%.
On the other hand, men working in construction are more than women reaching the highest rate for male’s jobs at a percentage of 90%. Then scientists and law professions came into the following options. Although the major differences between both sexes, they had the same rate in working in journalism with 50% each.
