The percentage of men and women is shown by the bar chart with ages between 60 and 64 who had a job in four countries during 1970 and 2000.
In 1970, in USA approximately 85% of Men and 79% of women were employed. In Belgium, 18% more of men than woman were being employed. Moreover, Japan has the largest gap between men and women compared to the other 3 countries. Indonesia, employees were 82% men and a proximitely 62% of women.
On the other hand, a major difference is there were less employment in 2000. As the bar cgart shows, none of the countries for both male and female employment rate are above 80% in comparison with year 1970. Belgium rarely had female employees. Number of female workers graduately increase in USA, Japan and Indonesia, respectively.
To sum up, the overall trend of 1970 and 200 bar chart is that all four countries men employment rate out ranked women.
