Overall, Austrailia was the most saught after distination followed by Canada, Germany, USA then Greece with Greece having a sudden increase inbtween.
In one hand, Austrailia was the highest in terms of immigration as it started with 42 thousand immigrants in 2006 and continued to increase steadily through 2007 and 2008 reaching almost 52 thousand in 2009. On the other hand, Greece started as the lowest immigration rate of 11 thousend in 2006 then suddenly skyrocketing to 35000 in 2007. Additionally, interest in immigration dropped drastically in 2008 reaching about 13 thousand and it stayed roughly the same through 2009 while slightly going down to reach 12 thousand.
Inbetween those two, canada was second place at about 35000 in 2007 and 2008.Then dropped slightly to around the 29 thousands in 2008 and 2009. Additionally, Germany was the middle ground at 23000 in 2006 and the rates steadily started decreasing to reach 20000 in 2009. lastly, USA,where the rates had a slight fluctuation while remaining around the 21000s immigrants throughout the set period.
