Overall, it is evident from the graph that the finance sector dominates the automotive sector in terms of percentage of GDP over the given time period. Also, the growth was gradual among both sectors throughout the span, except for finance in 2016, which still dominated the automotive sector.
Initially, from 2012 to 2014, there was an increase in the percentage of GDP among both sectors of about 2.2%. While there was a dip in the GDP contribution in 2016, reaching less than 8% from approximately 8.2% in 2014. Additionally, from 2016 to 2020, the GDP contribution of finance rose gradually from almost 7.8% to more than 14% in 2020, reaching its peak. In addition, the percentage increase of GDP in the automotive industry followed a similar trend, reaching 8% in 2020 from nearly 6.5% in 2016.
