The bar graph illustrates the role of finance and automative to Australia’s GDP from 2012 to 2014.
To begin with, while finance nearly doubled it’s percentage over 8 years, by the end of 2020, Gross Domestice Production from automative was roughly only half of finance department.
Finance has constantly contributed to Australia’s GDP more than Automative. In 2012, it started from about 6% but dipped slightly in 2016 to 7%. However, by 2020, it picked up and rapidly grew up to approximately 15%, more than double the inital valuation back in 2016.
Meanwhile, Automative started with 4% in 2016, grew by 2% in the next 2 years but in the next few years, it merely increased by 1% each year. Eventually, it’s share in GDP of the year 2020 was at 8%, roughly half of that of finance.
