Overall the data shows that the money spent on most of the expenditues is higher in 1999, compared to that of 1996, with the exceptions of travel, entertainment, and others.
In 1996, students spent the majority of their funds on entertainment, which accounted for more than 25%. On the same year Accommodation as well as domestic expences such as food, bills and household goods took up almost 25% and 20%, respectively. Conversely, course expendture at 10%, essental and non-essental travel at a little over 5% and around 2.5% were the least financed sectors for the them.
In the following three years, the percentage for most of the goods and services rose and by 1999, more than 30% was spent for entertainmen, 20% for accomodation and just below 20% for food, bills, and household goods. However, Other needs that are not listed decreased from more than 15% in 1996 to 13% in 1999. Similarly, essentail travels went down to less than 5%, while children rose from zero to approximately 1%.
