The graph shows the data about coffee production in four countries from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, the number of coffee production increased significantly, except for Colombia, where coffee production declined. Notably, Brazil was dominant in this timeline and recorded the highest figures. Meanwhile, other countries were comparable. Indonesia and Vietnam rose steadily and became similar toward the end of these years.
Brazil was the main producer of coffee. Although this country produced around 0.7 million tons of coffee in 1990, which was slightly higher than its competitors. This country’s coffee production multiplied over three times and reached a peak of 1.8 million tons of coffee in 2010.
Meanwhile, Indonesia and Vietnam showed the lowest amounts of coffee production, 0.2 and 0.1 million tons in 1990. However, after two decades these countries rose consistently. They both produced above 0.2 million tons of coffee in 2010.
Colombia was the exception in this graph, because only this country declined in production. Despite beginning the period with the second-highest amount of coffee produced, at 0.6 million tons, Colombia noticeably decreased in production to about 0.3 million in 2010.
