The bar chart compares the number of household tasks per day which were divided by gender in Great Britain.

Overall, women tend to do household chores more than man, although there were few exceptions. The amount of time spending on cooking baking and washing up was stood at the highest by females, while that of males was most popular in gardening and petcare.

The divison of household tasks by males had the highest figure in gardening and petcare, with 49,5 minutes per day, which was twice as the figure for maintenance odd jobs, with 26 minutes. Males had the lowest time spent on clothes, washing, ironing and sewing, at just only 2 minutes per day, followed by cleaning, house tidying, and care of own children and play, with 13 and 20 minutes respectively. The second-highest figure was cooking, baking and washing up, with 30 minutes spent on each day.
