The bar chart presents the percentage of population ages over fifteen in different regions who has writing and reading skills.

Overall, it is apperant that the highest proportion of the population is occupied by Europe. In contrast, Africa has a lowest percentage compared with other regions.

There are some regions that have a high proportion compared with other, which are Europe, Oceania, and America. All of these countries shown the nearly 100 percent of there population that have a skills of read and write. The percentage in both gender is slightly below to each other, which are approximately 97, 92, and 90 for male and around 96, 91, 89, respectively.

On the other hand, Asia and Africa was well below compared with other countries. Both of these countries have a small proportion in both gender which are nearly 76, 61 for men and around 66, 38 for women in Asia and Africa, in the order.
