Overall, the number of drugs taken by boys overtake those of the counterpart, with hashish and marijuana accounting for highest number of consumption in New Zeland. At the same time, LSD and recreational use of medical drugs appears to be the least common assumption’s modality.
Indeed, it is noticeable that the most preferred drug are hashish and marijuana, which are smoked by around 32% of boys and 28% of girls, respectively. The other six drugs are significantly less taken by adolescence.
In particular, heroin, opium and morphine abuse is located around 8% for boys and 5% for girls, followed by solvents.
The consumption of the remaining drugs is irrilevant. In details, LSD and recreational use of medical drags, and amphetamines are the least assumed, with only 1% among girls and 3% among boys. The amount of Coacaine assumed by male and female teenagers overlaps (around 4%).
