Female teachers more often than male teachers choose working with younger age children till secondary school. This gender gap was particularly large in nursery and primary school, where there were significantly more women than man.
The percentage of male teachers equalizes with women at a stage of a college and increases further in the higher education institutions. In private training institutes, men teachers outnumbered women by 10 percent. Moreover, the highest rate was seen in university lectures, where there were almost two times as many male teachers as female teachers.
Overall, the chart shows that there were differences in the type of educational settings chosen for teaching by male and female teachers.
