This chart bar presents the percentage levels of men and women teachers that work in six different levels of educational setting in the UK in 2010.
Overall, teachers that taught in the nursery/preschool were mainly consisted of female teachers, but different from preschool, there were more male teachers in the university levels more than the female teachers.
In the nursery educational settings, it shows that almost 100% of the teachers were female while the opposite genders were only less than 20%.
Meanwhile, in the university educational setting, 70% of the teachers were consisted of mainly man, and only 30% of women were working in the university levels, from the chart we could see that females prefer to work at a nursery/preschools, because almost 100% of people that teach at the nursery were women’s, while in the university level were mostly filled with mans because 70% of the teachers were male.
