There are six categories of UK Education teachers’ gender comparison data provided in this graph which was taken from 2010.
The data suggested that there was a significant dominance of women teachers which was pictured in younger age classifications whereas vice-versa for the man teachers.
There were more than 80% out of all the teachers in both nursery or preschool and primary school consisted by female teachers. In addition, there was also a higher percentage of female teachers than male teachers in secondary school with a slight gap between them while both were compromised for more than 40%.
On the other hand, while not that much of a gap compared to the women dominancy, there were some significant gaps for male teachers’ dominancy towards the numbers of female teachers in both private training institute and university with university picturing the highest percentage for the man teachers (more than 60%).
Despite each gender’s dominancy however, on the college levels both the women and men teachers were sharing the exact same of percentages at around 40 to 60 percentages.
