Overall, most men and women do the same activities in spare hours such as watching TV, spending time with family, doing sport or reading. However, there are some activities the girls do much more than men and vice versa like shopping – women do the most, and using the internet, which mostly men do. There is also the same between men and women that both 2 of them do not have a favor at playing games.
In terms of activities both male and female do, watching TV and spending time with family, are the most popular activities which is over 75 percent at both genders. It is followed by doing exercise and reading which is nearly 75 percent with women and less than 70 percent with men.
Regarding the remaining activities, shopping and using the internet show the significant difference between 2 genders. For shopping the proportion of women is up to nearly 75 percent while men is just over 25 percent. Conversely, over 75% of boys use the internet in their free time, whereas the proportion of girls is half of it. Additionally, mostly both genders do not play computer games, and the figures is lowest at the table which percentage just over 10 for girls and about 15 for boys
