The line chart illustrates the proportion of how people access news through four ways TV, Radio, Newspaper and Internet from 1995 to 2025.
Overall, there was a decrease in the number of people who read news on Newspaper, Radio and Internet, in spite of greater extents while the TV experienced an upward trend. Additionally, people who used TV rose substantially throughout the period.
Concerning the ratio of people who used Internet started at 70 percent then experienced the significant decrease in 2000 before fluctuating between 2000 and 2025 from around 60 percent and 50 percent. The figure for Newspapers and Radio saw a similar pattern, there was a moderate reduction throughout the given period. In addition, Newspaper and Radio saw a gradual dipping, from about 57 percent and just over 52 percent in 1995 to just under 30 percent and nearly 25 percent, respectively.
In contrast, the percentage of TV’s users witnessed a growth during the period. Despite an initially low position, the figure overtook several others by the end. Starting at the lowest point in 1995, the TV went up slightly to approximately 2 percent in 2000. Over the next 5 years, by 2010, it surged to nearly 30 percent before climbing dramatically from 2010 onwards. Madketly, in near 2025, the figure converged with the Internet, which was the highest point in first year.
