The chart illustrates the average of women and men in a specific Asian country who succeeded in their driving test when they took it between 1980 and 2010.
Overall, it can be seen that women passed their driving test more than men, during the 30 years period. They major with the highest rate which was obtained in 2000.
Firstly, the chart shows that in comparison with the constant increasing percentages of driving tests obtained by men, women rates illustrate the contrary, by varying significantly. For instance, their averages show a drop of approximately 3 % between 2000 and 2010, while the one obtained by men have never decreased over the years.
Secondly, by contrast with the 48% representing the leading proportion of driving exams got by men, women highest one didn’t overtake 68%. These data show a gap of 20% between the top averages obtained by both of the genders represented in the chart.
