The graph demonstrates the percentage of individuals interested in different types of sport according to a UK survey done over the years. In general, the most noticable feature seen is foot sport remained the most favorable sport in UK populations over three years period while declining proportion can be seen on other type of sports.
Majority of the UK individuals chose foot sport as the sport of interest which in contrast, golf was the least sport chosen where the difference almost quadraple in three different years; just above 40% for foot sport and just below 15% for golf. Meanwhile, other sports such as swimming, rugby, snooker, tennis show almost similar in proportions with the range between 20 to 30 over the periods.
In addition, the trend of declining in proportions can be seen in three different years for snooker, tennis and golf; where the fall were about 7%, 5% and 2% respectively. On the other hand, the graph depicts fluctuation trends in proportions for swim and rugby which both sports recorded similar rise on 2000 then fall again on 2005 about 5% and 3% in total of margin respectively.
