The chart illustrates the unemployment circumstances in Australia in the year 2012.

Overall, there are up and down in the percentage of unemployment rate in Australia, 2012.However, at the end of the year the proportion of both Rural areas and Urban areas come close to each other.

To begin with, percentage of unemployment rate in urban areas started from over 2% after that it increased gradually and reached it maximum 4% in the second quater.After second quater of the year percentage of unemployment rate dramatically decreased and reached its minimum close to 2% before third quater of the year.After that it again increased and reached at 4%.After that it decreased and again increased and reached its highest below 5%.

On the other hand, rural areas shows opposite trend.The percentage of unemployment rate of rural areas started from between 6% and 7% it started gradually decreased and reached its minimum under 5%.After that it increased slowly reached at above 5% before third quater.At the end in the fourth quater proportion of rural areas reached at 5%.
