The provided bar chart illustrates four types of modern communication tool which were utilized by people in the Finland between 1995 and 2004 and overall quantity of time which was spent on it.
In common , there’s an increasing trend of using mobiles and national,international-landline , at the same time gradual changes of local-landline telephone calls.
According to the chart, there’s huge difference between time of all three categories in 1995. Domestic-landline has 12000 minutes, being the biggest, international-landline with half of it(6000 minutes) and , the smallest one, mobile is just below 100). The contrast continued increase with all types of communication tools till 2001. The minutes of local-landline rose to about 16300 minutes,being the peak of itself, national-landline’s time climbed to just above 9000 minutes and usage of smartphones moved upward to about 5700.
It is worth noticing that after 2001 there occurred a downward tendency of distinction. The amount of time which was spent on national-landline and mobile phones kept increasing gradually , while local-landline started to go down , perhaps, being outdated. The quantity of mobiless’ minutes doubled , becoming just below 10000.The usage of international-landline also uplifted to 10100, not as great as smartphones, but still being in the middle , compared with other types. Finally , the local-landline deteriorated to 12000, saving the highest position even after a rapid decrease.
