Overall, what stands out from the both bar charts is that the most expensive prices for tickets were on Fridays, followed by Mondays, Saturdays and Sundays. The best days for buying tickets with a lowest cost are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. In summary, ticket prices from Melbourne are cheaper than from Sydney.
To begin with, price of tickets from Sydney to Melbourne by plane fluctuated between $35 and $80. Rising to $80, Monday in the first week made up the highest cost in the whole two-week period. By contrast, the second week on Monday was priced at $50, dropping to 30 dollars. The prices on the other days were the same and did not change.
When it comes to price of airline ticket, namely from Melbourne to Sydney, in the first week the highest price was on Friday and Monday, 80 and 60 dollars respectively. Falling to 60$ in the second week, the price for ticket on Friday remained the most expensive. Starting at 60$ in the first week, the cost of ticket on Saturday fell to 50$. As regards the other days, the price stayed the same.
