The chart above demonstates Japan, Korea, U.S and Indonesia people life expectancy in 2008, and the table shows the increase in life expectancy over the period from 1996 to 2008.
Overall, Japan ranked first according to average people life expectancy while the figure for Indonesia was observed as the lowest trend in the bar chart. Whereas when looking at increase over time, Indonesia the greatest rise , however the U.S saw the smallest improvement .
In 2008, Japan had a highest life expectancy among the four countries , at approximately 82,7% . Although Japan already had a high lifespan the rise between 1996 and 2008 at only 5.1%. While Korea had a slightly lowest life expectancy of around 79.2% in 2008 , but in table shows in 4,2 % more than Japan in 1996 to 2008.
Whereas the United States had a life expectancy of about 77.2 % in 2008, moreover , it experienced the smallest increase between 1996 and 2008 at just 3,2% .In contrast , Indonesia which had the lowest life expectancy in 2008 to above 70.9% recorded the highest growth, with a remarkable 15.7% rise over the same period
