The most popular place to dance is private studios with almost half. After that, the second choice of under 17s is school halls or centers with slightly below 25%, where as followed by community halls and other places with merely under 20%. The least favorite location is college-based studios with 10%.

By far, most of the under 11s preferred ballet with significantly above 500 attendants. On the other hand, the most popular dance class is modern for between 12 to 16 years old, with merely over 500 people. The least favorite dance class for between 11 to 15 years old is ballet with 300 people. On the other side of the page, under 11s didn’t prefer modern dancing with only 300 youngsters. For tap dancing, both age groups followed quite similar paths with slightly more than 400 people.
