In general, there was a upward trend in the use of OS 1, whereas the opposite was true for other systems. However, OS 2 and OS 3 merely fluctuated over the period.

Looking at the figure for OS 1, it accounted for a fith of the total global market. After that, it rose slightly to 38% in the following year. It took up the largest proportion, at approximately half in 2015. In contrast, other systems accounted for the highest percentage, at 48% in 2012. However, this figure decreased considerably to only 15% over the three-year period.

The figure for OS 2 generally remained unchanged during the period. It stood at 17% and then increased by 1%. OS 3 witnessed a slightly fluctuation. By 2013, it decreased to 10% from 15%, and then increased to 15% one more time.
