The chart shows, the percentage of sales at bookseller by genre during the years of 1972, 1992, and 2012.

overall, the charts shows the buying percentage of fictions related books is improve, while sale of biography and other books is decline in all these years. The sales of travel books goes up and down in these years.

In 1972, a quater part of the total sale was coming from other books. Along with biography books children and adult fictions books contribute equal part in sale which is 20 percent. In last travelling book which only contribute 15 percent in the sale.

Now we take a close look in 1992 sale chart, we see that travel books, adult, and children fictions books are slightly rise in sale, and reaches 25, 22, 18 percent respectively. Although their is a dip shows in biography and other books, this lead to biography at 15 and other at 20 percent.

In 2012, a major portion of sale that is 45 percent come from adult fictions, after that the second highest sale is coming through children fictions. And earning from other and biography book is only 12 and 8 percent respectively, while travel book contribute exactly one tenth of total sale.
