This charts shows, the data reports of production and usage of electric power by renewable and non-renewable energy in the USA in year 2009 and 2019.
Overall, coal were the largest source of generating current in 2009, while petroleum was the least contributor of it. Similarly, hydroelectric sector was leading in terms of renewable sources in 2009, and solar had a negligible contribution in 2009.
In, group of non-renewable resources, coal was leading with 1756 billion kilowatt-hours but a decade later it decreased by 700 points, meanwhile, natural gas added around 600 billion in gap of 10 years. Nuclear has not much increase between both reports, furthermore, renewables developed some hours around 300, but petroleum area remained at same position after 10 years. Meanwhile, wind increases by more than 200 points in a gap of decade, but hydroelectric and geothermal industry stands with same kilo-watt hours in 2019. solar increase gradually with counted digits. Similarly, plant/animal matter remained with same condition.
