Overall, the two pie charts show how much the popularity of motorized transportation decreased in this city within ten years. Especially cars, which have been widely popular in 2008, lost more than half the votes in 2018. On the other hand, non motorized transportation modes, in particular walking, gained around double from 2008 to 2018.

In 2008, cars were the most preferred way to move, used by 42 % of people in Cambridge. Followed by busses, chosen by 30%. While, bicycles and walking together didn’t reach a third of the votes (17% and 11% respectively).
