Overall, it is evident that there was an increased oil production in both years, while other renewable had a decline manufacturing rate.

In 1985, the rate at which oil were manufactured, it experienced a dramatic increased of 52% while in 2003 there was a significant fall to 39%. Following that was natural gas which saw an opposite trend and in 1985 usage dropped to 13% while in 2003 there was a surge at 23%. Coal also saw a flatuation between 1985 and 2003 with differences of 8% and 23% respectively while the reverse was the case in nuclear energy.

However, other renewables being the lowest in 1985 accounting for 1% witnessed a growth in 2003 with a figure of 4%. Then 4% hydro production were steady in both years.
