The given pie charts compare figures for certificates granted in four different majors (computer science, medicine, law, and business) at the National University in three distinct years: 1990, 2000, and 2010
Overall, it is readily apparent that computer science accounted for the highest percentage in all three years, whilst the opposite was true for law. Additionally, computer science witnessed an upward trend, business showed an opposite pattern, and medicine and law remained unchanged but not stable.
In 1990, the proportions of the degrees granted in business and computer science were the highest, both constituted 30%. This is followed by that of medicine, which was slightly lower, at 25%. Law, however, shared the lowest of all, at only 15%.
For the next 20 years, the figure for computer science rose significantly to reach a peak of 45%. In contrast, the percentage of the qualifications given in business field dropped by 10% in 2000, prior to a decrease to just 15% in 2010. The figures for law and medicine showed opposite trends, law fell to 10% and medicine climbed to 30%, but both returned to their initial starting points by 2010, at 15% and 30% respectively.
