It is clear that the highest percentage of students traveled by bus and car in both countries between 2010 and 2015. By contrast, the proportion of students who travelled to the university by taxi and walking was lowest in the UK and USA throughout the years.
In 2010, the students travelling by bus and taxi were 33% and 8%, and this figure dropped to 26% and 4%, respectively in UK in 2015. Between 2010 and 2015, the percentage of students who travelled by bus and taxi decreased from 27% to 24% and 19% to 10%, respectively, in USA.
The remaining popular transport of students in the UK and USA was car, cycle, and walking during the period from 2010 to 2015. Over the period, there was an increase in the percentage of students who travelled to the university by cycle and car in the UK and USA from 17% and 21% to 15% and 20% and 27% to 31% and 29% to 35%, respectively. Similarly, the percentage of students traveling on foot increased from 15% to 18% in the UK and from 10% to 11% in the USA between 2010 and 2015.
