By contrast, it was the country with the third-highest number of years of completed education at 10 years, and it had an annual income of $11,000 per peson. Bangladesh also spent a great proportion of its money on education (approximately 15%) in 2010, but it had only 5 years of education completed on average and an annual income of only $2,6000 per person.
On the other hand, Switzerland spends about 15% of its public money on education, but its citizens have on average 13 years of education and an annual income of $57,000 per person. By contrast, Ireland only invested about 9% of its money on education, but it was the country with the second-highest rank when it comes to years of education completed (12 years) and annual income per person ($49,000).
