The pie charts illustrate the expected and factual working agencies of psychologists after graduation.
Overall, it is expected that the majority of psychologists would work in private clinics, and the fewest would work in educational and medical sectors. However, in reality, most psychologists work in schools or universities, as well as medical centres.
According to the first chart, nearly 70% of psychologists are expected to work in private clinics, which take up the majority of the graph. Meanwhile, the educational and medical sectors account for the same percentage, which is 8%. Additionally, community institutions and unnamed categories take up the remaining, while the unknown sector is the fewest, which is 2%.
On the other hand, the fact is different. In the actual graph, most psychology learners work in their schools and universities, which is almost half of the chart, followed by the medical sector at slightly over a quarter. Moreover, there is a huge difference that can be seen, that is 16% of psychologists work in private clinics, and the community workers only contributed 3% to the total sum, when the Other sector increases slightly by 8%.
