The two bar charts compare the amount of electricity produced by renewable and non-renewable energy sources in three different nations in 2010 and 2020.
Overall, Canada relied heavily on renewable sources for elecrticity generation, whereas Germany and Australia produced more electricity from non-renewable sources in both years. All three countries has increased the usage of renewable sources, altough the use of non-renewable sources has declined over time.
Notably, Germany made more than 100 terawatt-hour from renewable sources in 2010, which increased to almost 250 terawatt-hour in 2020. Similarly, Canada produced 370 terawatt-hour in 2010, which rose to 300 terawatt-hour in 2020. However, Australia produced around 20 terawatt-hour in 2010, which grew to slightly more than 50 terawatt-hour in 2020.
Meanwhile, Germany, produced 500 terawatt-hour electricity from non-renewable sources in 2010, which fell to 340 terawatt-hour in 2020. Similarly, Australia generated more than 200 terawatt-hour in 2010, which dropped marginally to almost 200 terawatt-hour in 2020. Likewise, Canada reduced it’s electricity generation from 200 terawatt-hour to below 200 terawatt-hour over the period.
