The presented charts illustrate the correlation between the number of tourists visiting Fairmont Island and the time of the year and benefits and drawbacks of the island based on a tourist survey. According to this data, the largest tourist flow visits Fairmont Island in summer while winter is the least preferred time of the year. The greatest number of visitors find the high cost of living (as) the main disadvantage of the island, whereas the scenery and the people are marked by travelers as its biggest benefits.
A big number of tourists – about 600 000 people – choose summertime for traveling to Fairmont Island. Nearly 100 000 tourists visit the island in spring and twice as less in autumn. The quantity of people who prefer winter for travelling to this area does not exceed 10 000.
Among most common downsides of vising the island almost half of the travelers mark the high cost of leaving. 30 % think that entertainments leave much to be desired. A fifth of the visitors don’t like the weather and only 5 % complain about the quality of local food. The higher number of tourists mark the people as the main advantages of the area. A bit less visitors indicate the scenery as the thing they like the most. Almost equal percentage of people – 12 % and 11 % outlined as the biggest advantages good accommodation on the island and its culture accordingly.
