he provided pie chart graph illustrates the three different kinds of nutrition proportions related to four different types of meals consumed the across USA. The nutrients, respectively sodium, saturated fat, and added sugar, show percentages distributed across breakfast, dinner, lunch and snacks.
Overall, sodium, saturated fat and added sugar percentages in the Dinner are slightly above the 100% when all nutrients are aggregated, which may be unhealthy to consume that much of nutrients in one meal a day. Nevertheless, at the Breakfast meal are the lowest percentages among all the nutrients over 4 meals.
Specifically, all the three nutrients’ sum is above the 50% in Dinner, Lunch and Snacks meals. Respectively, 74%, 103%, 77%, except one meal type. However, at the breakfast, nutrient dispersion is balanced by 14% in sodium, 16% in saturated fat, added sugar at 16%. Which may be why the dinner meal is the most healthy meal in the graph due to proper eating.
Moreover, the biggest added sugar rate is mostly belonging to the Snacks meal at 42% and the second biggest rate of Sodium is regarded as the Dinner, which is 43%. But the lowest percentage of sodium nutrient in the Breakfast and Snacks is 14%, but the lunch meal’s highest two nutrients are sodium and saturated fat ordered by 29% and 26%, Added sugar rate is second lowest in lunch rather than breakfast.
