The bar graph illustrates the monthly bookings for a leisure centre created by seven various groups, namely Language class, Book club, Live music, Yoga and fitness, Quizzes, Dance, and other groups in 2018 and 2022, while the pie chart demonstrates the number of all bookings made by the time of the day in 2022.
On the whole, the dominant figure for bookings in the initial year was observed in the Live music category, while the figure for Book club showed the opposite trend, being the lowest figure. Additionally, in the second year, the share of Live music took the lowest position, whereas that of Dance groups was the greatest. Meanwhile, the most common booked time of the day was during the evening from 18:00 to 21:00, even thought the reverse was true for the time during the late morning from 9:00 to 12:00.
According to the bar graph, the figure for Dance groups was the highest category amongst other at around 39% of bookings, and the share of Yoga and fitness remained unchanged in both years. Moreover, Live music showed the topmost proportion only in one year at approximately more than a third. Interestingly, almost all other categories such as Language class, Book club, Quizzes, Dance, and other groups experienced upward trend in 2022, with an exception of live music which is dropped dramatically at around 8%. Furthermore, as we can see the Dance groups category was quite high over the period.
As for pie chart, the most preferable time for bookings was in the evening 18:00 to 21:00, creating more than two-fifths, followed by the time from 15:00 to 18:00 which included at a quarter. Meanwhile, the 9% of all bookings mentioned at 6:00 to 9:00, although at 12:00 to 15:00 made up 16%. In addition, the lowest proportion accounted for 5% at 9:00 to 12:00.
