The line graphs illustrate the percentage of people having electrical devices and how many hours spending on housework in a household in a country from 1920 to 2019. The data focuses on electrical gadgets such as washing machines, refrigerators and vacuum cleaners.

Overall, the number of hours of doing housework in the household decreased gradually when ownership of electrical appliances increased during the period. There was a significant rise in the percentage of people having fridges. We can see, that using washing machines increases slower than refrigerators and vacuum cleaners.

The rate of people having refrigerators increased by 0 between 1920 and 2019. The trend soared until 1980, but then it stabilized between 1980 and 2019. The ownership of vacuum cleaners rose gradually from 30% to 100% between 1920 and 2000, but the trend remained flat from 2000 to 2019. There was a slight rise in washing machines from 40% in 1920 to 75% in 2019. The quantity of time spent doing housework fell considerably from 50 hours per week to 10 hours per week during the period.
