The pie chart presents the use of water in Australia in 2004 for different goals. At the same time the diagram gives clear information about the consumption for houses.
Overall, all results are presented in percentages. There are different sectors, such as: government, residential (house), residential (apartments), industry, business, and others. The most significant role plays the residential (house) sector. There is a separate part about specific household chores that use the most water. What is more, the least active user that is on the list is the government.
The residential, especially house sector is the largest consumer of water, accounting for more than half of the total (57%). About 27% is using water for the bathroom, around 26% for the garden, almost 20% for washing clothes, around 15% for the toilet, and about 10% for the kitchen.
The second place is the residential (apartments) sector (13%). However industry and business parts have almost the same indicators (11% and 10%). Government do not consumes big amount of water (only 6%) and the other (3%)
