Approximately 80% and 78% of water are used for agricultural purposes in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, respectively, while Canada uses water primarily for industrial goals. In all three countries, the usage of water for domestic purposes does not exceed 20%, with respective figures being 14%, 13% and 11%.
