The graphs illustrate how frequent people from different labour position and age group were happy in a four- weeks- period, in percentages.
Overall, bar charts reveals that older people (65-74) were happier compared to the slightly younger group (50-64). In terms of labor condition, those in education or training were satisfied more often than retired and self- employed with the retired showing the highest percent of unhappiness.
In relation to the data by age group, it can be seen that in both groups- (50-64) and (65-74) older people were happy more than 1/3 of the time (58.3% ), with 2.8 percentage points over the younger ones. Humans in the first age category were dissatisfied in 15.6 % of the period and those in the second with 1.4 percentage point less. The former were 29.5% happy some of the time and the latter 27.4%4.
Regarding the data on labour status people in education or training were content 3/4 of the time and were least unhappy- only 6.3 % of the time5. Retired individuals had the highest percent of unhappiness- 15.2% , with 2.8 percentage point more than the Self- employed. The latter were in the middle by data for both categories.
